Tour Details

Join an experienced guide for up to 2.5 hours, and embark on a transcendental journey under the night sky. Be prepared, as kayakers may spot all sorts of stunning wildlife while paddling from our Bunche Beach location, including dolphins, manatees, various bird species, and more. Our guided tours provide all of the necessary equipment, such as paddles, backrests, and lifejackets. There will also be plenty of opportunities for photo taking, so feel free to bring a waterproof camera or an inexpensive camera in a waterproof bag. Your guide will bring a camera with them on guided tours and take photos, which we then post to our Facebook page. You can then view them there, and share them with your friends and family.

• A pair of water shoes or flip flops that you don't mind getting wet
• A hat
• Sunblock

Tour Details

At Kayak Excursions, we offer Manatee Tours year-round and often spot these gentle creatures on many of our other tours. When water temperatures in the gulf drop suddenly due to a cold front, manatees congregate in the warmer waters slightly inland, which makes for an incredible close encounter. During spring, summer, and fall, we regularly see manatees on our Eco Tours. If your main desire is to see manatees, please call us to check current sightings and to see which tour is the best to book. When waters cool and manatees leave to head inland, we adjust our tours to follow their route, all in the Fort Myers/Cape Coral region. In some cases, there may be a $5 per person surcharge to cover the launch fees in those areas, but we will disclose that to you beforehand.

This tour is a total of 3 hours. Your reservation includes all necessary equipment, including a kayak, paddles, backrests, and life jackets. There will also be plenty of opportunities for photo taking, so feel free to bring a waterproof camera or an inexpensive camera in a waterproof bag. Guides will be available to take photos, as well.
